Back in the work
Over the past few months I've had a lot of conversations. Coffee catch-ups, walks, the odd message out of the blue. Testing an idea, getting advice, sense-checking where things might land. A fair amount of "am I overthinking this?" too.
I've appreciated the generosity of people who gave their time, perspective, and encouragement along the way.
Off the back of that, I've started working with a couple of NZ-based founder and CEO-led businesses in a part-time, fractional GM and operations capacity.
It's typically the point where things are growing or shifting, and leadership starts to feel stretched. My role is to come in alongside the business and bring some clarity, structure, and momentum. A mix of thinking, support, and getting stuck in to help move things forward. Occasionally helping untangle what's been living in someone's head for a while.
It's early days, but I'm enjoying being back in that space.
If you're in that sort of situation, or know someone who is, I'm always happy to have a kōrero and a coffee.
And to those who've been part of the journey so far, thank you.
